What is Rotherham parkrun?

Rotherham parkrun is a weekly 5k event designed for people of all ages and fitness levels. When and Where?

The parkrun takes place every Saturday at 9:00 am in Clifton Park, located on Clifton Lane, Rotherham. Make sure to check the course page for more detailed route information. The picturesque park provides a scenic and enjoyable experience for all participants, no matter your pace or fitness level.

How Much Does It Cost?

Absolutely nothing! The parkrun is completely free, but they do ask that you register before your first visit. You only need to register once, and don’t forget to bring a scannable copy of your barcode to get your official time, you can also request a reminder to bring your barcode if you’re likely to forget ! If you do forget your barcode, you can still join in the fun, but you won’t receive a time for that week.

Do I Need to Be Fast?

Not at all! The beauty of parkrun is that it’s not a race. Whether you’re a speedster or prefer to take a more leisurely pace, the event is designed for everyone to enjoy. It’s all about taking part and having fun, so come along no matter your fitness level.

Join Us for Post-parkrun Coffee!

Every week after parkrun, the community head over to the Walker Cafe, located in Clifton Park Museum, right next to the finish line. The cafe opens from 8:30 am, so why not treat yourself to a hot drink and a chat with fellow parkrunners after the event? It’s the perfect way to wrap up your morning!
